The Palomar Starlux 1540 Fractional Laser offers superior results with little or no down time. The treatment involves no messy dyes and very little prep work. With each pulse fractional microbeams are delivered deep into the epidermis and dermis for effective long lasting results. This fractional non-ablative approach stimulates quick healing with long lasting results. The laser microbeams create columns of tissue coagulation within the skin. These columns initiate a natural healing response, and healthy new tissue is formed. This result is an improved skin appearance. With this easier on the skin process you may experience redness, warmth, swelling, or tightness in the treated areas, which typically fades within a few hours after the treatment. The skin may have a pinkish tone for 5 to 7 days. Generally, you can receive a treatment and go back to work and normal activities without any recovery time. A series of treatments at 3 to 6 week intervals may be required to achieve the desired results.
